A very nice place to take your dog
First time there! Great nurses.dog had broke her nails . They were very gentle with her!!
I decided to try this vet office because it is a lot closer than my previous vets office.. mistake! The staff was very unfriendly, especially the girl at the front desk, Kirsten! I was previously told that I would be the first appointment that day with one of the rotating vets (I even arrived significantly early), however, after waiting in the room for a period of time, I overheard another patient come in to the room next to me and they had their pet seen before mine. Finally, Dr. Battle come in my exam room even though I was under the impression that I was seeing another vet there (I was not informed that the rotating vet would not be in for my appointment, I believe a call would have been appropriate to inform me of that). Dr. Battle was more friendly and had the best attitude out of everyone else who worked in the clinic. However, after discussing the issues that my dog was having, he did not give me any information as to what it could have been! He left the room and told me he was going to make a care plan for me (I was unsure of what this was and I expected him to come back into the room to explain to me what it was and what he wanted to do to my dog). One of the assistants brought the "care plan" to me which was a receipt of what he wanted to do to my dog and the medication that he wanted to put her on, after looking at the total, you would have thought I brought my dog in for something major.. the prices are outrageous!!!!! Anyways, instead of having the care plan explained to me, I had to ask questions about what everything was and what it was for. There were several medications on the care plan that served the same purpose and rather than them choosing one or the other, they were trying to make me get it all. To me, it made me feel like they were trying to take advantage of my age, hoping that I would be young and dumb and not pay any attention and just get what they wanted me to get.... not happening! I selected what I felt was pertinent since Dr. Battle did not come explain to me exactly why he wanted me to get all of what he had listed. After Dr. Battle said that he was going to make my care plan, I never saw him again. I feel like the facility is all about the money rather than care of pets; I do not feel like the facility cared enough about my dog or myself. I will NOT be returning to this facility, nor will I recommend it to anyone else that I know either.
My Tea Cup Chihuahua is 9 years old Dr Battle has been his veterinarian all of his life. Dr Battle and his staff are so awesome and caring. They are truly the best and care about all of their clients. Thanks to the Battle Family
Dr. Battle is an excellent veterinarian. Angelia and his staff are extremely nice as well. Our stubborn dog loves Angelia, so we board him here if we're traveling and he can't go with us.
